With the reopening of the schools, the Rotary Club Milano Leonardo da Vinci, Rotary Club Milano Naviglio Grande San Carlo, il Rotary Club Milano Nord Ovest, the #RotaryClubMilanoBorromeoBivioSforza, il Rotary Club Milano Sud Ovest, the #RotaryClubMilanoInternationalNet, the Rotaract Club Milano Leonardo Da Vinci, and the Rotaract Club Milano of #District2041 have joined forces to donate and install thermoscanners at the entrance of the institutes in the Milan area.
30 pieces were donated and installed in the first week of April to ensure a safe and peaceful return to school.
30 pieces were donated and installed in the first week of April to ensure a safe and peaceful return ti school. Several schools of greater Milan benefitted from this project as by 10 May 2021, 43 thermoscanner had been put in place.
The automatic thermoscanner model installed inside the school premises of Milan and its province is very accurate and reliable.
The action is sustainable and lasting as these thermoscanners will continue to be used in school infirmaries.
This is a large-scale project for which we intend to set up a Global Grant, having the possibility of involving foreign clubs.
Among the schools which received the termoscanners, the beneficiaries from our club are:
Istituto Madre Cabrini of Milan
Istituto IC Linneo of Milan
Istituto Gianni Rodari of San Giuliano Milanese
Istituto Calvino (Dezza) of Melegnano.
The project is still ongoing.
